Abstract

|
This paper illustrates Group Art Therapy (GAT) and its effects on young children ’s self-expression and creativity. This program was conducted with four children; among them, one attending a kindergarten in Daejeon who got permission from his or her parents. In the research conducted, the GA T program was designed for improving children' s self-expression and creativity, and it is composed of three steps. This research has shown us the fact that children’s emotional stability and desire expression through art therapy affect their self expression and creativity. Therefore, this will be a basic resource to the children with a low level of self-expression and creativity.
